Online play is frustrating

We own this game on OSX and iPad. It is frustratingly impossible to create a game with friends. If anyone gets disconnected from the game, it inserts a random AI player that is horrible.

DO NOT BUY this game expecting to play with people you know. It is a terrible experience.
